We had originally requested $25k with the idea that it would cover 40 weeks of $625 pizza requests. We received about half that and have deployed $3,445=$313/week over the 11 weeks since we submitted on June 7.

Plans for Next Epoch:
- Updated Milestone 1: Open Source Pizza Faucet Dapp
- Description: We completed the simple open source project that we mentioned in our first post: the Pizza Faucet is now live, offering a streamlined Dapp to reimburse pizza from Farcaster posts. Octant is actually using it to give away pizza on its community calls!
- Expected Immediate Outcome: It’s now super easy to reimburse pizza requests through the dapp website
- Funding Needed: $4,000 in development + design costs funded with a Base partnership
- Updated Milestone 2: Real Estate Acquisition
- Description: We’re focused on our real estate acquisition and tracking our progress in our Real Estate Crew Sheet. Our current top prospect is a piece of land next to the OSHI Gallery in Melbourne that we would acquire in partnership with our friend Guy Leonard who operates Leonardo’s Pizza Palace and Nouns Deli.
- Expected Immediate Outcome: Accomplishing our first real estate acquisition will be an important step forward for our ecosystem and a proof of concept that can be copied
- Funding Needed: $1.2m AUD
- Updated Milestone 3: 400+ Cities for Global Pizza Party 2025
- Description: We now have 342 cities signed up in our planning sheet for Global Pizza Party 2025. We’re well on our way to signing up the 400+ that we would like to reach, but we still have lots to go!
- Expected Immediate Outcome: Lots of people will come together to eat pizza and make friends. Throwing a pizza party in 400+ cities on the same day will cause huge ripple effects in the onchain ecosystem.
- Funding Needed: 400 cities * $625 each = $250,000
- Karma GAP: PizzaDAO’s Karma GAP
- Additional Funding Request: $25,000 would help us scale our grassroots pizza request funding + execute on more conference side events (we’re targeting 2-4 per month).
