Climate Coordination Network

Project Name:
Climate Coordination Network

Project Description and why it’s classified as a public good:
The Climate Coordination Network (CCN) has been driving the quarterly climate QF grant round since its beginning. The climate round was initially run by Gitcoin and managed by the CCN team, but it was decentralized out of Gitcoin at the end of 2023. CCN continues to run these quarterly climate/refi grant rounds independently.

Since GR12 in December 2021, the Climate Solutions Round run by CCN has enormously impacted the web3 Climate/ReFi space. We have crowdfunded nearly $1M and distributed almost $3.9M in funding to hundreds of projects amid bear market conditions.

Driven by the belief that climate action is the ultimate public good because climate change increasingly affects all of humanity and by a mission to accelerate climate action, the Climate Coordination Network is excited to continue to take the Climate Solutions Program to the next level of effective and focused global impact.
