Milestone 1: $6,000 / ≈ 1.7 - ETH to complete MVP.
- Expected Outcome : Currently, we have an 85% functional MVP but need a little funding push to build out the last of the UI and complete some quality-of-life improvements. We also want users to start using the app and provide feedback that can help focus efforts for Milestone 2. Milestone 2: $12,000 / ≈ 5 ETH - Redesign and rebuild.
- Expected Outcome : The initial design of CookieJar was thrown together during the MVP buildout. We will focus on several areas of improvement. First, we’d analyze feedback from users of the initial MVP. Second, we’d bring in a designer to help create a clear brand identity and improve the user experience, onboarding experience, and education of users of the partners we’re integrated with. Milestone 3: $18,000 / ≈ 5 ETH - Enhancements of SmartContracts, Audits, and Integrations.
- Expected Outcome : Provide a fully functional, feature rich, safe version of CookieJar. Funding Requested: $36,000 / ≈ 10 ETH Plans should you fall below, reach or exceed funding goals: If we fall below we will reduce scope and build as much as we can. CookieJar is a project of love and we’ll continue to work on it regardless of if we get full funding or 0. If we exceed funding we will put the funds into our DAO treasury to continue to iterate and improve the application.

Impact Measurement and Reporting
3.Inputs > Activities > Outputs > Outcomes > Long Term Impact* Short-term Outcomes (0-3 months):
- Finish v1 functional MVP, Redesign, and Enhance. Rubber hits the road, and we unleash CookieJar on the world. Collect user feedback and iterate on improvements. Mid-term Outcomes (3-6+ months):
- Audit, and Integrate. In order to establish additional trust with our users and once we have time to assess aditional protocol integrations requested by the users we will get the smart contracts audited. If an audit is not financialy viable leverage our communities and network of developers to analyse and do peer audits. Long-term Impact (5+ years):
- The long-term impact for CookieJar is creating a self-sufficient open-source project that helps blockchain communities like DAOs and local meetups and onboards new users to the Blockchain space. We’ve received interest from several groups and organizations that would like to pilot CookieJar, and we believe that it will help demonstrate to users the power of Blockchain Technology. CookieJar is and will continue to be a DAO that contributors can join. The proect will remain open-source to allow for others to fork and inovate on the core idea. We’ve discussed implementing a fee through our FE to achieve sustainability but the core protocol will always remain open to anyone. Outcomes Measurement: We are interested in tracking two different outcomes with CookieJar.
-
Number of on chain users (DAO’s, companies, etc) that find value in and use CookieJar. Tracked by measuring contract use via Dune or similar.
-
Onboarding new users. We’ve recieved interest from local meetups, Owacki’s impact hub and green pill to use it as a tool to onboard new users to crypto.

Interim Reporting
5.Regular Updates:* Provide quarterly reports and updates based off of data collected from our DAO. There you will be able to see proposed work inititaves, who is assigned to work on those items, and fund distributions through proposals. We will also explore using Charmverse and leverage data from GitHub and user analytics collected from Dune or similar. Milestone Verification:
- In addition to Karma GAP all of our milestones will be tracked through our DAO and GitHub with milestones linked to proposals and GitHub issues.
Sustainability Plan
During our initial launch of CookieJar, we asked a user to donate to fund future development. We have discussed implementing a fee instead of donations to provide a more sustainable future. This would only be imposed through the UI, and the smart contracts would remain a public good. For specific integrations that are requested, we will request funding or apply for grants to implement those features. Ideally, CookieJar will be maintained by the users, and they will help fund future improvements and enhancements.
Case Studies and Testimonials
6.Gathering Feedback:* The current plan to gather feedback from users are the following
- Discord
- Typeform Showcasing Success: CookieJar will showcase success by creating a testimonial section on the website where we can showcase user feedback. Additionally, from larger organizations that implement CookieJar for business-related activities, we’ll be able to analyze what works and what doesn’t and provide case studies for Organizations that wish to implement CookieJar.
Advancing Values of Freedom and Privacy
CookieJar is a versatile tool available to everyone. It enables users to take cookies representing a fixed amount while transparently providing a reason for their fund request. This reason can be upvoted or downvoted by other CookieJar members to ensure fairness and accountability. Originally created to streamline small, recurring expense management in DAOs, we quickly realized its potential for various other use cases.
Supporting Decentralization
CookieJar project exists as a moloch DAO. This means anyone can join as a contributor and leave as they wish. We have no barrier to entering and using the app, nor are there any required fees at the moment, but an option for users to donate.
